Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of Buddy's Food websites, applications, online ordering services, and related services. By accessing or using the services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account or placing an order. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for activity performed through it.
2. Orders and availability
All orders are subject to acceptance, product availability, store hours, and operational capacity. We may reject or cancel an order when an item is unavailable, information is incorrect, payment cannot be processed, or fulfilling the order is not reasonably possible.
3. Prices, taxes, and payment
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, fees, discounts, and the final total are displayed before checkout. You authorize the selected payment provider to charge the amount shown at checkout. We may correct obvious pricing or description errors before accepting an order.
4. Pickup and order timing
Preparation and pickup times are estimates and may change because of order volume, item complexity, or circumstances outside our control. You are responsible for collecting your order from the selected location and checking it promptly.
5. Allergies and dietary information
Our kitchen handles common allergens, and cross-contact may occur. Ingredient, allergen, and dietary information is provided for general guidance and may change. Contact the store before ordering if you have an allergy or dietary concern.
6. Cancellations, refunds, and promotions
Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the order status, payment method, and circumstances. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method and may take time to appear. Promotions, coupons, and rewards may have additional conditions and may be changed or withdrawn as permitted by law.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the services, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operation, submit fraudulent orders, copy protected content without permission, or use the services in violation of applicable law.
8. Third-party services
The services may rely on third parties for payments, maps, messaging, hosting, analytics, and other functions. Those services may be governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their independent acts or omissions.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided on an “as available” basis. Buddy’s Food is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the services. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version becomes effective when posted with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights available to you.
